Sick of clubs with terrible sound, Mr Riedel and his business partner, Mark Ernestus, veterans of the Berlin music scene, recruited acousticians to turn their concrete shell into an aural delight. Polyester-lined panels absorb auditory “reflections”, leaving a crystalline sound that brings out details lost in muddier spaces. This wizardry is complemented by speaker technology custom-made for the space.
